It’s a case of getting the blues come spring/summer, but it’s all in the name of fashion and cobalt seems to have swung it on the catwalks. Even the men have got it going on. Matalan have gone cool on us with this linen shirt at £14, jersey cardigan at £10 and vintage wash jeans at £18. Keep your white shoes from 2008, just give them a good wash and you’ll be good to go.
Cocktail dresses are top of the shopping list still, and this blue number from Lipsy is a shining example. At £55, you really will beat the credit crunch, wear it til next Christmas, versatile yet classic, you can’t go wrong.
Ladies will be treated to much of the same in 2009 with strong block colours coming through. Tesco will be selling this purple ruffle blouse at £10, grab yours before it is gone.
Team with this uber stylish coral pencil skirt at a mere £8, for a colour clash, add a skinny belt at £2 and you’ve got it wrapped.
Finally, it’s all about 1950s match up, the shoes, to the bag, to the belt. Dune has got it made with this mock croc collection. Ticking all the boxes, bag — bright at £70, belt — skinny at £28, shoe — platform at £85, bag them all.
Check out these pants! At around £40 from Debenhams it's one fashion you'll either love or you'll hate.
