A GROUP fighting plans for an adventure course in Rivington have set up a hotline to report tree felling.
The Friends of Lever Park are concerned because Go Ape felled five trees without permission to make way for a zip wire course.
The company has agreed to replant the trees, but the campaign group fears more trees will need to come down to make way for the development. Go Ape chiefs say they are working closely with Chorley Council to ensure work is above board.
The group is now asking people to keep a look out for any tree felling activity and contact them on 07598 973054.
