SCOUTS in Bolton have taken part in a special celebration.
The Greater Manchester North Scout County, which includes five Bolton districts, held a celebration weekend.
It marked the 2007 Scout Centenary and the 10th anniversary of the county headquarters in Middleton.
The event included activities, displays and a climbing wall and a commemorative sculpture of a wolf cub was unveiled.
Scouts also received awards. Catharine Barton, of Bolton North Explorer Scout Unit, received her Chief Scout’s Platinum Award, while Joe Ruaux, of 6th Horwich, and Thomas Carr, of Bolton 5th, were presented with their Chief Scout’s Gold Award.
