ASTON Villa winger Ashley Young is hopeful the club can turn Villa Park into a fortress.
Young netted a brilliant brace as Villa claimed a remarkable 3-2 victory over Everton on Sunday to keep up their hunt of a top-four finish.
Martin O'Neill's side have won three of their eight games at home this season and Young is targeting an improvement, starting against Wanderers on Saturday.
The winger said: “We were disappointed with the Fulham game last week that we didn’t capitalise on the chances we created but we wanted to get back to winning ways and this proved it.
“We must make Villa Park a fortress, you always want to pick up points at home.
“We are picking up points on the road and hopefully at the weekend we can put in another good performance and get another win.”
