AMBITIOUS skipper Kevin Nolan wants Wanderers to still be flying high in the top 10 of the Premiership by the start of the New Year.
Despite Saturday’s defeat against Chelsea, Gary Megson’s side are still sitting comfortably in mid-table, five points clear of the relegation zone.
And although Nolan accepts that things can quickly change in this, the most unpredictable of Premier League seasons, he has set the short-term target of retaining a place in the top half of the table by the time the FA Cup comes around at the start of January.
Megson’s plans in the transfer market have been the subject of press speculation, with Wolves midfielder Michael Kightly and Sheffield Wednesday’s highly-rated defender Mark Beevers said to be on his radar.
