THE youngsters and teachers at a Breightmet school were in fine tune as they stepped up to the microphone to record a CD.
SS Osmund and Andrew’s RC Primary School was transformed into a Fame Academy with the hall becoming a recording studio for the morning.
The CD album features a compilation of Christmas music and popular songs performed at the school.
As well as performances by individual classes, a massed 380-strong choir of all the children sang You Are My Brother. And all 50 teachers sang the Live Aid Christmas anthem Feed the World.
Key Stage One manager Julie Summerton said: “It was a fantastic morning, everyone enjoyed it.
“We all sound wonderful because our voices were digitally enhanced.
“We invited in the company CD Recording Stars to stage this because it complements the curriculum and develops their interest in music.”
