FATHER Christmas will be appearing in Westhoughton in the run-up to Christmas.
He will be joined by Rudolf and elves on Santa’s sleigh on the following evenings: Thursday, December 11: Cherwell Road, Washburn Close, Whitsundale estate, Wharfedale estate, Chelmer Close, Broomway, and the Wayfaring estate.
Friday, December 12: Hartford Road, Marsham Road estate, Marlbrook Drive, Old Vicarage estate and Daisy Hall Drive.
Monday, December 15: The Hoskers and surrounding roads, Alderton Drive, Megfield, St. George’s Avenue, The Pewfist, Rayden Crescent, Gellert Road, Southover and France Street.
Tuesday, December 16: Eatock Way and surrounding roads, Shearwater Drive, The Pungle, Parkway, Dunham Close, Drake Hall, Lower Drake Fold and Hazledene.
Wednesday, December 17: Chew Moor, including Tempest Road, Copperfields, Havisham Close, St. John’s Road, Corner Brook Estate, Coppice Close, and the Abbeylea, Greystone, Netherwood Way circle.
Thursday, December 18: Madison Park, Glazebury Drive, Ingleby Close, Barnabys Road to Bamber Croft, Greensmith Way, and the Collingwood Way estate.
Friday, December 19: Lower Landedmans, Bankside, Forest Drive, Lee Bank, Taywood Road and Winslow Road estate, Doyle Road, and Knutshaw Crescent.
Saturday, December 20: Westhoughton town centre, during the day.
Monday, December 22: Over Hulton, including Newlands Drive estate, Crescent Avenue, Umberton Road, Reynolds Drive, Firs Road, Shurdington Road.
The sleigh will visit from 6.30pm to 9pm.
The tour has been organised by Westhoughton Rotary Club, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
