CAMPAIGNERS in favour of the proposed congestion charge are launching a last push to get people to vote “yes”before polls close on Thursday at 10pm.
Hundreds of “Yes Campaign” volunteers will be handing out leaflets at bus stops and train stations spelling out the £3 billion in public transport improvements Greater Manchester would get in return.
Only around one in three people eligible to vote in the postal ballot have done so — half as many as predicted.
The results from Bolton and the region’s nine other local authority areas will be announced in Manchester on Friday.
