A BANK worker was dragged by her hair and threatened with a gun during a terrifying armed raid.
Two men wearing balaclavas burst into Lloyds TSB in Bolton Road, Walkden, brandishing shotguns and demanded money.
One grabbed a woman employee and forced her into a back room where she was ordered to hand over cash.
The robbers fled the bank with bags stuffed with £160,000 in notes, then jumped into a black Mercedes car and drove off.
No-one was injured during the robbery, which happened shortly before 4pm on Friday.
Police later found the getaway car burned out in nearby Harriet Street.
It is believed the robbers then got into a dark blue car, which sped off.
The men, both described as white, 6ft tall and slim, are now being hunted by police.
Detectives believe a third man may have acted as a getaway driver.
Anyone with information should call the police on 0161 856 5351.
