HIGH school pupils took to the stage to rock the audience.
The annual production at Canon Slade was Schools Will Rock You, an alternative version of Ben Elton’s smash-hit Queen musical We Will Rock You.
The cast belted out the songs of the legendary band in five performances.
Josh Martin, aged 16, who played the lead part, Galileo Figaro, said: “It was great to be given the opportunity to play my first lead. It was fun, challenging and very satisfying.
“It was amazing to see the whole audience waving their hands to We Are The Champions towards the end of the show, and also very satisfying to see everyone giving us a standing ovation after Bohemian Rhapsody, the final number.”
