IT was full steam ahead for Christmas in Moss Bank Park when Santa called in on the Toyland Express.
Excited children wrapped up against the cold and got into the festive spirit by taking a trip on the miniature railway to visit Father Christmas as he finished making presents in his Toyland workshop. Each child received a present from Santa and his helpers and once the train returned to the station, they were able to enjoy the rides on the fairground and join in making winter bird feeders at the workshops.
After their short train journey, they were able to enjoy traditional treats such as free mince pies, hot chestnuts.
There was also a chance to enter a free survey draw to win a stereo system.
The event, held over the weekend, was organised by Bolton Council with the Moss Bank Park Model Engineering Society.
