BOLTON Wanderers did brilliantly to win 4-1 at Sunderland, but I looked in vain for any recognition of the fact in the subsequent national newspaper coverage.
All the pieces I saw were about the pressure on Sunderland manager Roy Keane — he resigned a few days later — and the defensive errors that were apparently the only reason our boys did so well.
It has been great to see the Whites shooting up the table from the very bottom.
Gary Megson (and his players) must be doing something right.
