My Shining Star by Lola Seaton I was truly granted a daughter, so unique, so pure, so true, Who touched the very lives, of everyone she knew.
I will never understand it, no matter how I try, I keep on asking God above ‘Why my Cygaya had to die’.
I cannot describe in any words, the hurt, the grief, the pain, You are my shining star Gaya and I will never be the same.
You lived your life with passion, and spread unconditional love, And I am sure you will do just the same, in heaven up above.
You were always easily pleased Gaya, and never did complain, You always smiled from the inside out, even when you were in pain.
You were very very poorly, but just wanted to come home, Your courageous fight was not in vain, and you were not alone.
You did your best and struggled hard, for almost six whole weeks, But now that you are up in heaven, the future seems so bleak.
He chose me to be your mother, I feel honoured and so blessed, And now I have to say goodnight, its time for you to rest.
I was with you each and every day, our hands locked tight together, Just as my hand is in your’s now and will stay that way forever.
‘You Are My Everything’ My life, my heart and my soul.
Shine like the star that you truly are...
Love you Gaya Mum
