SINGER Kennedy Ross will light up a carol concert in Liverpool later this month.
The 12-year-old, of Saunton Avenue, Harwood, will sing solo in front of hundreds of people at the NSPCC’s Carols by Candlelight concert at the city’s Metropolitan Cathedral on December 17.
Kennedy, who goes to Canon Slade School and attends the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, said: “It’s going to be great because I love singing.”
Her mother, Tracie, added: “It is such a prestigious venue and it’s a national charity so it’s an honour for her to perform at the cathedral. ”
Kennedy was invited to sing in the concert by the NSPCC after several rounds of auditions.
