MEMORIES of a popular teenager who died after battling a mystery lung condition were shared at her funeral in Bolton today.
Cygaya Seaton, aged 17, from Burnden, died in Bolton Hospital a fortnight ago surrounded by her family, who between them had kept a six-week bedside vigil.
The funeral of the former Bishop Bridgeman Primary School and Mount St Joseph School pupil was at Bolton Parish Church in Churchgate at 11.15am.
Her mum, Lola, said her music-loving daughter, pictured, was always surrounded by friends and enjoyed sharing songs and pictures on social networking website Facebook.
She had recently started a course at Bolton College to be a joiner, having previously passed a hairdressing qualification.
Miss Seaton, aged 39, and Cygaya’s two brothers and two sisters, will be joined by Cygaya’s six aunts and other family as well as family friends and well-wishers from the local community who have rallied around in support.
