BUSINESSMAN Imran Hakim has won another award to add to the collection of trophies already accumulated.
Mr Hakim, who shot to fame with his invention, the i-teddy on TV’s Dragon’s Den, also runs a chain of optometrists and a business incubation company.
Prince Charles and a Jordanian princess presented Mr Hakim with the Mosaic Science and Technology Award at a ceremony at the Natural History Museum.
The award recognises outstanding contribution to the advancement of science and technology.
The ceremony featured 31 finalists in eight categories for inspirational work in society. Mosaic works to break down barriers across British society, convened by Business in the Community (BITC), one of The Prince’s Charities.
