A service to switch-on lights in memory of loved ones at Bolton Hospice tonight has been cancelled.
The decision was taken not to hold the Light Up A Life Christmas celebration due to weather conditions.
The Light Up A Life appeal gives families the chance to remember loved ones while raising funds for the hospice.
In return for a donation, lights are placed on trees in Victoria Square, at the hospice and at Bolton Parish Church.
The town centre lights were turned as part of the Christmas lights switch-on on November 23.
A service at Bolton Parish Church on December 10 will go ahead as planned to turn on the lights situated there.
To light up a life contact the hospice on 01204 663055, or drop into the hospice in Queens Park Street, off Chorley Old Road.
