YOUNG actors at Thornleigh Salesian College are preparing to stage the Wizard of Oz.
More than 50 members of cast, aged from 11 to 18, have spent the last three months rehearsing the show, while another 20 have been designing and creating the sets.
Drama teacher Chris Martin said: “The production is colourful and vibrant, and has a magical Christmas feel about it.
“The pupils have displayed real talent and have worked hard to put on what is going to a lively, superb production.”
He added: “There are only a few tickets left for the show.”
The performance opens tomorrow at 7.30pm with more performances on Friday and Saturday at the same time.
Tickets are priced £6 or £4 for concessions. For details, ring the school on 01204 301 351.
