A MAN has been jailed after a shotgun and ammunition were found during a raid.
Wayne Catterall, aged 24, of Swallow Drive, Bury, was sentenced to four years in prison at Manchester Crown Court after pleading guilty to selling or transferring ammunition unlawfully, possessing ammunition without a certificate and possession of a firearm.
In January, police carried out a search at an address on Swallow Drive. They found a double barrelled sawn-off shotgun and cartridges.
