FIRE chiefs have warned people to take care over when they put out their wheelie bins after fire from a blazing bin spread to the offices of an architects in Chorley New Road, Bolton.
Firefighters were called the offices at 4.30pm on Sunday and found a wheelie bin at the back of the building had been set alight. The fire spread, burning through metal shutters and damaging a door.
Watch commander Andy Hardman, from Bolton fire station, said: “We would advise people to put their wheelie bins at least three metres away from their property.”
