BROADCASTING watchdog Ofcom has slammed an advert about the proposed Greater Manchester congestion charge, describing it as “biased”.
The advert, screened on ITV1, showed a presenter in a studio talking about the poll and describing what the outcomes of a “yes” or “no” vote would be.
Seven viewers complained the advert was biased towards the “yes” choice.
The advert was withdrawn by ITV when Ofcom began its investigation.
