Brian Paddick and George Takei branded themselves 'The Gay Team' as they took part in their first Bushtucker Trial.
The pair - who are both in same-sex relationships - were chosen by the rest of the group to take part in the challenge, which they were told would "involve ostriches".
As they left camp, Brian quipped to the 'Star Trek' star: "George, this trial is going to be perfect for us because we're going to be covered in ostrich feathers. No need for the boa."
He then told 'I'm a Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here!' hosts Ant and Dec: "Tonight you don't have the A team, you have the gay team."
The trial, called Pluck and Roll, saw the pair have to navigate giant stars through a maze while avoiding the advances of ostriches, who were keen to eat the molasses and seeds attached to their clothes..
Asked if they were willing to take part in the challenge, which they had eight minutes to complete, George said: "We're going to give it a try as Brian wants some ostrich feathers for his boa."
The pair were thrilled to win eight meals for camp before running out of time, with Brian saying afterwards: "Eight meals for 11 people is substantial so I'm so pleased. George is such a hero.
"I don't think anybody would physically do three runs, which is what you needed to do in the time to get all of the stars."
