A GROUP of teenagers is organising a charity night in aid of children’s hospice Derian House.
It will be held at Bar Lane Bowling Club, in Astley Bridge, on Friday, December 5, from 7.30pm to 11pm.
The teenagers, all students at Bolton Sixth Form College, had to organise an event as part of their applied travel and tourism course, and the group of 10 decided to raise cash for charity at the same time.
A host of local businesses have donated items for the event, including Warburtons, Aura beauty, and Park cakes. The Albert Halls has donated four tickets for the Christmas pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Tickets for the charity night are £4 from the college for students and their families.
