EIGHT Bolton Harriers Under-11s athletes competed for Greater Manchester in the Sportshall Fun In Athletics event.
Sportshall Athletics has been running since 1976 and aims to introduce children to athletics and allows children to practice a multitude of skills.
Abigail Booth finished joint ninth in the speed bounce event and 24th in the standing triple jump with 4.31m.
Megan Kirby was eighth in the speed bounce and 13th in the target throw event.
In the balance test Jasmine Marshall was 19th and 11th in the vertical jump.
On the track, Greater Manchester’s best event was the one-plus-one-lap relay in which the girl’s team came second.
Greater Manchester girls came fifth in both the grand prix and obstacle relay and sixth in the hurdles relay and six-lap event.
The county came seventh in the over and under relay and the 4x1 relay.
The girl’s Greater Manchester team was seventh in the competition.
Nathaniel Marshall came 15th in the boys javelin, and Thomas Halliwell was joint 14th in the speed bounce. Daniel Kiss came second in standing long jump and joint 13th in the target throw event.
Greater Manchester boys came sixth in the one-plus-one-lap relay, the 4x1 relay, the over and under relay and the hurdles relay.
The team came seventh in the six-lap event, fifth in the grand prix and eighth overall.
