THE Little Lever Senior Citizens Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, January 10, with all village residents over 65 able to attend.
The party at Christ Church in Mytham Road is being organised by local churches, businesses and other organisations and is free.
The party starts with a meal at 1pm, attended by guests including the Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Anthony Connell, and the Mayoress, Mrs Maureen Connell. It will be followed by a free raffle and entertainment. The doors will open at 12.30pm and the party will finish at about 4pm.
Residents who have attended the party since 2006 will automatically receive a ticket.
Other residents who will be over 65 by December 31 and who live within the Little Lever boundaries and would like to attend the party can obtain their free tickets from Brian Young on 01204 707043.
