WANDERERS aim to stay on the right track for success this season after the players enjoyed a day’s go-karting.
Manager Gary Megson gave his side a break from training following the superb 3-1 victory against Middlesbrough at the Riverside.
Bolton raced up to 12th in the table after their third win in four games at the weekend.
And the players geared up for Saturday’s clash at Sunderland with a team-bonding session at the Daytona Manchester’s karting track yesterday.
“There’s a terrific team spirit in the squad and exercises like this just help foster that,” said Whites assistant boss Chris Evans.
“We went paintballing earlier this season and you can see the togetherness among the players, both on and off the pitch, which is so important to our success.
“The players work very hard most days of the week so, once in a while, it’s nice for them to do something different.
“The camaraderie helps create the right atmosphere and spirit within the camp, and that can only be a good thing.”
Ebi Smolarek proved himself king of the track as the Polish striker took the chequered flag from Ricardo Gardner and Matty Taylor in the final.
