DESPITE playing for nearly an hour with 10 men it turned out to be a stroll for Castle Hill who were four goals up after 23 minutes.
Scott McNair drilled home the first goal and Phil Roberts made it two from a free-kick.
A McNair free-kick was met with a powerful drive by Darren Bates on his debut for the third and when Chris Kelly got his head to another quality cross to make it 4-0, it looked like a goal feast was on the cards.
But then McNair was sent off and it seemed to unsettle Hill as the rest of the game fizzled out without many chances.
The third team won 6-2 at Oldham Hulmenians with Houghton and Hartshorn each scoring two.
