RADCLIFFE Borough suffered their second consecutive UniBond Division One North defeat, going down 2-1 at the hands of high flying hosts Newcastle Blue Star.
Striker Paul Brayson put Blue Star ahead on 20 minutes, but Boro central defender Craig Dawson equalised four minutes later.
The decisive goal came from Newcastle danger man David McTiernan six minutes later and the Stainton Park men travelled home empty-handed.
FC United’s FA Trophy third round qualifying tie against Boston United was postponed on Sunday because the Gigg Lane pitch was waterlogged. The tie has been rescheduled for Wednesday night at Gigg, kick off 7.45pm.
