GERRY Luczka is tipping his Radcliffe Borough side to give high-flying Newcastle Blue Star a difficult test.
Borough are fuming after believing the officials cost them at least a point at Harrogate Railway Athletic last weekend and will be looking to change the mood.
Luczka is confident his squad has enough quality to cause problems for any team in the UniBond League Division One North.
“With the players at our disposal, we fear no one,” he said. “Blue Star are a quality side, but we will give them a game.”
Borough visit a team which is just one place and one point below the play-off places, having lost just three of their 12 league games this season.
FC United will be battling for a place in the first round proper of the FA Trophy when they take on Boston United at Gigg Lane on Sunday.
Karl Marginson’s side saw their seven-match unbeaten run come to an end after they slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Eastwood Town in midweek. But the Rebels will be hoping to return to winning ways at the expense of their struggling UniBond Premier League rivals in the third qualifying round tie.
