STUDENTS at Bolton Community college learned about life in a news room during a visit from a Bolton News Journalist.
Assistant Editor, James Higgins, spoke to members of the Living in Bolton course.
He explained a little about the history of The Bolton News and spoke about the workings of the editorial department.
Student, Simon, Woodland, aged 32, of Halliwell, said; "I learned a lot during the visit. My favourite part was hearing how the paper is planned."
Teacher, Lynda Howarth,added: "The visit was very valuable and the students learned a lot. The information they obtained will be used to make a display in the classroom."
