Cat Power to release new E.P.
CAN Power has announced that she will release a new EP, Dark End Of The Street, on December 8.
Cat Power started the year with Jukebox, her second album of cover songs and a tribute to the great vocalists who had influenced her over the years.
The list of covers she chose made for a most impressive cast list - James Brown, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Jesse Mae Hemphill, Billie Holliday, George Jackson, Janis Joplin, Frank Sinatra, Hank Williams and even herself.
Jukebox was also the first record she made with her band, Dirty Delta Blues.
Dark End Of The Street will comprise the remaining, unreleased, tracks from the Jukebox sessions.
