What: Manchester’s yearly filmmaking festival features bees, kittens, snails, yetis, flies, dragons, trolls, dogs, lobsters and robots.
The submissions, from all over the UK, have been divided into nine categories — India, Journeys, Young People’s Lives, Urban Life, Families, Animals, Change. Animation and Anthropology.
Exposures aims to discover and support the best new talent from across the UK, with winners from previous festivals having gone on to achieve critical acclaim and success in the film and media industry.
This year Shameless writer Paul Abbott will be leading workshops and hands-on sessions in his role as the festival patron.
Where: The Cornerhouse, Oxford Road, and Urbis, Cathedral Gardens, Manchester.
When: Sunday to Thursday.
