PADDY McGuinness has said that fellow comedian Steve Coogan, who appeared at the MEN Arena last night, is one of only two people he dislikes.
The Bolton-born entertainer made the comments to Key 103’s Mike Toolan when he appeared on the breakfast show.
McGuinness launched into an anti-Coogan rant, after Toolan mentioned that he would be watching the show.
He said that the Alan Partridge star had proved the adage “never meet your heroes” to be true.
“He’s not a nice bloke and I’m not afraid to say that,” said McGuinness, adding that “he just looks through you” and that Coogan will “only talk to A-list movie stars.”
McGuinness, who shot to fame in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights before starring with his pal in Max and Paddy’s Road To Nowhere, said the only other person he disliked was Suggs.
