The New Inn lead Section A of the Farnworth Winter Rounders League after a 37-run win over Adlington.
Ten runs ahead after the first innings, they stepped up a gear in the second innings to clinch a comfortable victory.
Elton Vale A remain one point adrift in second place after a 22-run victory, although they did lose the second innings by four runs.
They are just one point ahead of the third-placed team which scraped a 160-159 victory over Capital in a match where both sides scored 79 in the second innings.
BYP A recorded their third win of the season, a 52-run hammering of ISS Ladies who are still looking for their first point and are not playing to their Summer League ranking.
Wallys Eleven remain unbeaten in Section B after a 38-run win over Elton Vale B while second-placed Blades Barbers had a more emphatic victory over BYP C who are one of three teams on two points at the foot of the table.
Following their defeat, Elton Vale B share third place in the table with BYP B who picked up two points from Daves Minibus, who failed to turn up for their match.
The Grapes B picked up their first points by beating fellow strugglers Little Lever CC by 39 runs. They showed impressive consistency with 85 runs in each innings.
