YOUNGSTERS at St Saviour’s CE Primary School are well versed in rhyme after a visit by poet David Horner.
The wordsmith held a number of workshops at the school in Ringley, to which children from neighbouring primary schools were invited.
Headteacher Ian Southern said: “The pupils really loved the sessions and have brought that enthusiasm and enjoyment back to their lessons. They learnt a lot through the fun session.”
Martina Morris, aged four, and Luca Maynard, aged four, are pictured with Mr Horner.
