DARREN Bent has been full of praise for Fabio Capello’s England regime, but his claim that training is now “more professional” doesn’t say much for Sven-Goran Eriksson’s management.
The Tottenham striker, enjoying life at White Hart Lane since the arrival of Harry Redknapp and recalled to the national squad for tonight’s friendly in Berlin against Germany, claims Capello has brought a club mentality to the national team.
He said: “It’s not too different to what it used to be, but the training is more intense and perhaps more professional.”
Ouch!
