DRAW specialists Castle Hill left it late before earning their latest point.
They had a flying start, going in front after just four minutes when Scott McNair smashed home from the edge of the box.
Both teams created chances as the game opened up but it took more than an hour for the next goal to come.
Howe Bridge scored it and added another five minutes later.
Castle Hill looked to be heading for defeat until free-kick expert Phil Roberts produced a perfect set-piece strike to keep his side’s unbeaten league record intact.
Castle Hill Res went nine points clear at the top of their division with a 7-0 win against Howe Bridge Mill Res. Darren Bates scored a hat-trick, Anthony Greer two, and Aaron Greer and Ashley Gregory one each.
