HER shock exit from The X Factor was on everyone’s lips last week — but Laura White is now back home and looking to the future.

And one of the first things the talented singer will be doing is settling down to watch Bolton comic Peter Kay’s spoof reality TV talent show.

Britain’s Got The Pop Factor And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice was screened while Laura was busy rehearsing for The X Factor live shows.

Laura has barely had a moment to herself in the past few months, but is determined to sit down and watch her comedy hero’s show.

She said: “He is great and I am looking forward to watching his reality TV spoof, and can’t wait to hear the Christmas single.”

On Friday, Laura, aged 21, from Atherton, showed off her vocal talents in front of hundreds of screaming fans at the Market Place in Bolton town centre.

Since leaving the show, she has been surprised at the amount of publicity she has received, compared to other contestants who had previously been voted off.

She said: “The amount of support I have received is amazing and it has given me a lot of confidence.

“I promise this is not the end for me. I am determined to keep going until I get signed.”

Offers have been flooding in, but Laura is not yet allowed to speak to anyone about future deals as she is still contracted to The X Factor until March.
