FREE shuttle buses are ferrying shoppers and commuters around Bolton town centre in a pioneering year-long trial, which started today.
If successful the £200,000 “Metroshuttle” scheme could be expanded.
It has been hailed by retailers as the perfect tonic for the economic gloom which has, so far, taken the sparkle out of the run-up to Christmas.
