THE introduction of a free shuttle bus service in Bolton town centre is an excellent move.
The buses, which will ferry shoppers around six days a week, will make it easier for people to get into Bolton and give the town an edge over its rivals.
The buses will travel from Bolton train station via Bradshawgate, Deansgate, Bridge Street, St George’s Road, Knowsley Street, back on to Deansgate, Black Horse Street and Newport Street and, if enough people use them, the service could be extended.
Let us hope it becomes a success.
