THE mother of a man charged with the murder of model Amy Barnes has been bailed.
The 49-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of assisting an offender.
She has been bailed until Tuesday, January 6, pending further inquiries.
Ricardo Morrison, aged 21, formerly of Birmingham, has been charged with the model’s murder.
He appeared before Bolton magistrates on Wednesday and was remanded in custody.
Miss Barnes, aged 19, died on Saturday after police were called to a house in Moss Street, Farnworth, following reports she had been stabbed.
A post-mortem examination concluded that she died as a result of stab wounds.
