CHILDREN have sown the seeds to create a colourful display of flowers in Moss Bank Park, Bolton.
The youngsters are now looking forward to seeing the fruits of their labour when the bulbs they planted flower in spring.
The children worked in the walled garden to plant astilbe roots and daffodil bulbs as well as making decorative flower models to put alongside the bulbs.
The project, called Growing Together, was organised by environmental regeneration charity Groundwork.
The Growing Together team has been working with families in schools, community centres and parks across Bolton and Bury to encourage family learning, healthy eating and gardening.
Organiser Paul Howes said: “Our previous work with Moss Bank Park has been a great success and this is a very exciting planting project.”
