AN Islamic library has opened its doors in Bolton.
The library is in the Zakariyya Jaame Masjid mosque in Peace Street, Deane.
It opened recently to members of the local community, regardless of faith, who can borrow the books or use the reference material. Membership is free.
The library, the first of its kind in Bolton, has taken several months to set up.
Subnum Hariff, the library project manager, said: “We hope to widen access to these resources and aim to contribute towards better understanding between communities and strengthen community cohesion.”
