BUDDING boxers went a round with a pro in a training session at the Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
Super-bantamweight fighter Sean Hughes visited the centre to give the boxing club members some top tips.
Mr Hughes, who is challenging for the Commonwealth title in December, gave the juniors a 45-minute workout before taking a question and answer session in which he talked about training and nutrition.
The professional boxer then went a round with each of the club’s senior members.
Mr Hughes is sponsored by the army, and the visit was organised by Bolton Army Careers.
Warrant officer Peter Rhodes said: “Some of them are big lads, going all the way up to heavyweight, so he got a lot out of it himself. All the lads thoroughly enjoyed it. Every single one of them came out with a great big smile on their face.”
