An elderly man has died in hospital after being hit by a bus in Bolton.
The collision happened on Derby Street at about 12.45pm on September 28.
The man was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital for treatment for injuries to his chest and shoulder but he died nn October 19.
He has since been named as Samji Pinduria, aged 83, of Daubhill.
Police are now appealing to anyone who may have been on the bus at the time of the incident or who witnessed the collision to come forward.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care and attention and has been bailed until January pending further inquiries.
