The Business Show 2008 attracted hundreds of people to the Bolton Arena today.
The event, co-organised by The Bolton News and Moorish Idol Marketing, saw movers and shakers from all sectors of business and commerce join forces under one roof.
It was opened at 9am by Editor-in-Chief of The Bolton News, Ian Savage, who welcomed guests and exhibitors before outlining the schedule for the day.
More than 100 businesses, from small local companies to international powerhouses, exhibited at the event.
There were also a number of high-profile business figures who gave presentations and answered questions about their sucesses.
They included Rachel Elnaugh, the founder of Red Letter Days and former Dragons' Den panellist; Bolton's Imran Hakim, inventor of the I-Teddy; and Jacqueline Gold, the chief executive of Ann Summers and Knickerbox.
Mr Savage said: "We have been delighted by the response and feedback from this, our first Buisiness Show, and now look forward to making plans for future events."
