LEIGH Genesis have signed striker Chris Amadi from Burscough, in an attempt to bolster their attacking options.
The Oldham-born player replaces Darren Mansaram, who has been released from his contract after he scored three goals in eight starts.
Leigh’s reward for their 1-0 FA Trophy victory over Harrogate Railway Athletic on Saturday is a home tie against fellow Unibond Premier League side Cammell Laird, who came from a goal down and a man sent off to beat them last week. The game will take place on Saturday, November 1, but a venue has not yet been decided.
The league game at home to North Ferriby United will take place at Ashton United's Hurst Cross ground on November 8, while the home fixture against Marine on October 28 will take place at Victory Park, Chorley.
