A LACK of firepower proved the undoing of Leigh Genesis as they lost 2-1 at struggling Cammell Laird in the Unibond Premier League on Tuesday night.
Genesis took the lead when Rob Smyth touched home Jordan Stepien’s shot and minutes later former Leigh player Lee Atherton was sent off for upending Smyth in the area.
The visitors camped in their opponents half but failed to add to their tally, while Cammell hit back with two breakaway goals.
