STEVE Bleasdale hopes a week’s break has left his side raring to go against Buxton tomorrow.
A roller-coaster start to the season has seen Genesis in sixth spot, but with more defeats than the manager would like.
But he puts that down to a new side and the fact that they have to play all their games away from home, as their new base at Leigh Sports Village will not be ready until next month.
“The break has given us the chance to recover from a few knocks,” said Bleasdale. “Apart from Jerome Watts, who has a slight hamstring, I have a fully fit squad and they are raring to go.We have had time to practise a few things as I want us to be a bit more composed in certain areas and concentrate more on set-pieces.
“We have not always backed our wins up but we are sixth and our aim is promotion. It will only be after Christmas, though, before we know where we are.
“We have another tough game as Buxton are a strong and physical side but I am confident we can come away with victory.”
