LEIGH Genesis have postponed next month’s money-spinning clash with FC United until they move into their new stadium.
Ground issues have forced the UniBond Premier League club to seek alternative venues for their home fixtures following the council’s declaration that Hilton Park was unfit.
Their new home at Leigh Sports Village is not expected to be ready until November.
Chorley will host their games against Boston on October 11 and Marine on October 28, but the high-profile fixture against the well-supported Rebels, scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, has been delayed.
Genesis are in action on Tuesday night at Marine looking to make amends for their 4-2 defeat by Whitby at the weekend, while newly-promoted FC search for their first win in five games when they travel to Ossett Town.
